Local mode now available!
There are now two options available for setting up your new eKey Bionyx system:
-Local Mode (newly introduced)
-Plus Mode (the current option)
​Local Mode allows you to set up the system without an internet connection or an eKey Bionyx cloud account which is perfect for remote sites without internet.​ For a simple breakdown here are the features of each mode....
Local mode
-Intuitive administration with smartphone
-Opening with fingerprint scanner or smartphone (Via Bluetooth)
-Up to 20 users (up to 4 fingers per user)
-Firmware updates
-Different functions with different fingers (device-dependent)
-Send invitations for access via smartphone

Plus mode
-Basic functions as in Local mode
-Remote administration of authorizations
-User and role administration
-Data backup of the device configuration
-Access log (activate/deactivate and delete)
-Finger synchronization to other devices
-Up to 5 fingerprint scanners in one system
-Remote support
-Time slots (e.g. person X: access Wednesday, 09:00 to 13:00)
-Remote opening
-Push notifications when the door is opened
-Smart home connectivity (HTTP(S) requests, Drivers)
-System extensions available (up to 20 fingerprint scanners or up to 100 users)

The sleek wall-mounted ekey finger scanners integrate seamlessly with Crestron 3-Series® control systems. Now, Crestron residential integrators can introduce convenient one-touch door entry to their smart home designs. Fingerprint door entry also enhances security by eliminating hackable 4-digit codes and the possibility of key or access card forgery.

Now, in essence, your finger is the key to your Crestron smart home.”
ekey products provide a convenient, secure, and simple alternative to conventional entry access. They leverage biometric processes to provide reliable added security, and make stolen keys, cards, and forgotten passwords or codes a thing of the past. It’s impossible to lock yourself out of your home, as your finger is always, literally, on hand. Intelligent software even detects the growth of childrens’ fingers, minor injuries, and habit changes. They provide the additional benefit of enabling building control systems to track who’s coming in.
